Since 2023, Himalaya Baltimore has proudly organized annual soccer tournaments that bring together veteran players, families, volunteers, sponsors and supporters from across the region.

A growing competition for veteran teams.

FC Revival crowned champions after a 4–0 final.
The tournament that began Himalaya Baltimore’s annual veterans soccer tradition, bringing eight teams together for two days of full-ground competition.
The inaugural Himalaya Cup was held on October 14–15, 2023, at 800 South Rolling Road in Catonsville, Maryland. The 35+ tournament was played in an 11v11 full-ground format and featured eight veteran teams divided into two groups.
Every team played three group-stage matches before the top two teams from each group advanced to the semi-finals. Nova Veterans completed an unbeaten tournament and defeated Baltimore Athletic Club 5–2 in the championship final.

Nova Veterans became the first Himalaya Cup champions after completing an unbeaten tournament and defeating Baltimore Athletic Club 5–2 in the final.
Social activist, entrepreneur and realtor
The first-place prize was sponsored by Ramesh Bhatta, widely known in the Nepalese community as “Nepali Chhoro.” He is a social activist, entrepreneur, realtor and the founder of Saathi Baltimore Community.
His generous support helped establish the inaugural Himalaya Cup and contributed to the success of the tournament’s championship award.
Community business supporter
The second-place prize was sponsored by Pratt Liquors and Bar. Their contribution supported the runner-up award presented to Baltimore Athletic Club.

President, NRNA Maryland
NRNA Maryland President Kul Gurung attended the final day as the tournament’s chief guest.
Following the championship final, Kul Gurung and Himalaya Baltimore President Nabin Gurung presented the tournament awards to champions Nova Veterans and runner-up Baltimore Athletic Club.

A two-day veterans soccer tournament that brought together eleven competitive teams for a celebration of soccer, friendship and community.
The 2nd Himalaya 35+ Soccer Tournament was held on August 3–4, 2024, at Honeygo Regional Park in Perry Hall, Maryland. Eleven veteran teams competed across three groups, with every team playing two matches during the group stage.
The tournament continued through a playoff match, two semi-finals and the championship final. FC Revival delivered a dominant performance throughout the competition and defeated Nova Veterans 6–0 in the final to become the 2024 champions.

Baltimore Athletic Club won 6–5 on penalties.
FC Revival completed an outstanding tournament by defeating Nova Veterans 6–0 in the championship final.
The tournament's first prize was sponsored by Raju Parajuli, owner of Bombay Nights, and Anu Parajuli. Their generous contribution helped support the championship award and the successful organization of the tournament.
Following the championship final, Raju Parajuli and Himalaya Baltimore President Nabin Gurung presented the first-place prize to FC Revival and congratulated the players on their outstanding tournament performance.

A competitive two-day veterans soccer tournament featuring nine teams from across the region.
The 3rd Himalaya 35+ Soccer Tournament was held on August 23–24, 2025, at 9410 Kilimanjaro Road in Columbia, Maryland. Nine veteran soccer teams were divided into three groups, with each team playing two group-stage matches.
The tournament featured strong competition throughout the group stage, followed by a playoff match, two semi-finals and the championship final. Harrisburg FC produced an impressive knockout-stage run and defeated Nova Royals 3–0 in the final to become tournament champions.

Harrisburg FC defeated Nova Royals 3–0 in the final to win the 3rd Himalaya 35+ Soccer Tournament.

More than 200 players represented 12 teams across three groups before the competition advanced through the quarter-finals, semi-finals and championship match. FC Revival completed the run with a commanding 4–0 victory over first-time finalists VA Rhinos.

Since 2024, Himalaya Baltimore has been creating opportunities for children to learn, play, socialize and grow through soccer. The program focuses not only on developing football skills, but also on teamwork, confidence, friendship and community connection.
Children from different backgrounds and skill levels are welcomed into a positive environment where participation, enjoyment and personal development remain the main priorities.

What began as a kids soccer event has grown into an annual development program that combines training, social interaction and community participation.
Himalaya Baltimore introduced its first Kids Soccer Mela in 2024 during the final day of the club’s annual 35+ Soccer Tournament.
Several community clubs arrived with their own youth teams, while many other children attended individually. To ensure that every child had an opportunity to participate, the organizers divided the remaining children into balanced teams according to their age categories.
The event emphasized fun, inclusion, teamwork and sportsmanship. It gave children the opportunity to experience organized soccer while meeting new friends and becoming more connected with the community.
Building on the success of the first Kids Soccer Mela, Himalaya Baltimore expanded the youth initiative in 2025 by reserving a turf field in Essex and organizing an eight-week free summer soccer camp.
Children participated in structured training sessions led by volunteer coaches. The camp helped players develop their basic soccer skills, physical fitness, confidence and understanding of teamwork.
Beyond soccer training, the program provided children with a welcoming place to socialize, build friendships and spend their summer in a positive and active environment.
At the conclusion of the summer camp, the children participated in another Kids Soccer Mela during the final day of the 35+ Soccer Tournament.
Just like the previous year, children were grouped according to their age categories to create balanced and enjoyable matches. The event allowed young players to demonstrate what they had learned throughout the summer camp.
Families, coaches and community members came together to celebrate the children and support the next generation of soccer players.
The Kids Development Program continues in 2026 with another summer training program and opportunities for children to participate in organized soccer.
Himalaya Baltimore remains committed to creating an inclusive environment where children can stay active, build friendships, improve their confidence and grow through the game.
The club’s long-term goal is to continue expanding the youth program while preserving its community-centered and volunteer-driven foundation.
