Since 2023, Himalaya Baltimore has proudly organized annual soccer tournaments that bring together veteran players, families, volunteers, sponsors and supporters from across the region.

The tournament that began Himalaya Baltimore’s annual veterans soccer tradition, bringing eight teams together for two days of full-ground competition.
The inaugural Himalaya Cup was held on October 14–15, 2023, at 800 South Rolling Road in Catonsville, Maryland. The 35+ tournament was played in an 11v11 full-ground format and featured eight veteran teams divided into two groups.
Every team played three group-stage matches before the top two teams from each group advanced to the semi-finals. Nova Veterans completed an unbeaten tournament and defeated Baltimore Athletic Club 5–2 in the championship final.

Nova Veterans became the first Himalaya Cup champions after completing an unbeaten tournament and defeating Baltimore Athletic Club 5–2 in the final.
Social activist, entrepreneur and realtor
The first-place prize was sponsored by Ramesh Bhatta, widely known in the Nepalese community as “Nepali Chhoro.” He is a social activist, entrepreneur, realtor and the founder of Saathi Baltimore Community.
His generous support helped establish the inaugural Himalaya Cup and contributed to the success of the tournament’s championship award.
Community business supporter
The second-place prize was sponsored by Pratt Liquors and Bar. Their contribution supported the runner-up award presented to Baltimore Athletic Club.
Himalaya Baltimore appreciates their support of local soccer and Nepalese community programs.
President, NRNA Maryland
NRNA Maryland President Kul Gurung attended the final day as the tournament’s chief guest.
Following the championship final, Kul Gurung and Himalaya Baltimore President Nabin Gurung presented the tournament awards to champions Nova Veterans and runner-up Baltimore Athletic Club.

A two-day veterans soccer tournament that brought together eleven competitive teams for a celebration of soccer, friendship and community.
The 2nd Himalaya 35+ Soccer Tournament was held on August 3–4, 2024, at Honeygo Regional Park in Perry Hall, Maryland. Eleven veteran teams competed across three groups, with every team playing two matches during the group stage.
The tournament continued through a playoff match, two semi-finals and the championship final. FC Revival delivered a dominant performance throughout the competition and defeated Nova Veterans 6–0 in the final to become the 2024 champions.

Baltimore Athletic Club won 6–5 on penalties.
FC Revival completed an outstanding tournament by defeating Nova Veterans 6–0 in the championship final.
The tournament's first prize was sponsored by Raju Parajuli, owner of Bombay Nights, and Anu Parajuli. Their generous contribution helped support the championship award and the successful organization of the tournament.
Following the championship final, Raju Parajuli and Himalaya Baltimore President Nabin Gurung presented the first-place prize to FC Revival and congratulated the players on their outstanding tournament performance.

A competitive two-day veterans soccer tournament featuring nine teams from across the region.
The 3rd Himalaya 35+ Soccer Tournament was held on August 23–24, 2025, at 9410 Kilimanjaro Road in Columbia, Maryland. Nine veteran soccer teams were divided into three groups, with each team playing two group-stage matches.
The tournament featured strong competition throughout the group stage, followed by a playoff match, two semi-finals and the championship final. Harrisburg FC produced an impressive knockout-stage run and defeated Nova Royals 3–0 in the final to become tournament champions.
